NORDICUM Transportation & Logistics Special Report 2007
Nordicum 1/2007 takes a look at Finland’s biggest cash deal ever, when the Sampo Group sold its banking operations to Denmark’s Danske Bank in November 2006. The question remains as to what Sampo Group will do with the proceeds – more than EUR 4 billion.
Nordicum also introduces some aspects of leadership training like executive coaching and situational leadership.
Nordicum 1/2007 is a special transport and logistics issue, so ports, forwarders, rail, road and shipping companies are covered. For Nordicum 6 2006 we interviewed Helsinki’s Lord Mayor Jussi Paajanen. He says that Helsinki is aiming to maintain and develop its position as one of the most innovative and competitive metropolises in Europe. We also introduce Stockholm’s city centre property development projects.
In our business and incentive travel section we take a look at Finnish Lapland, which is getting more and more international travel destination. Lapland’s ski resorts and other travel operators have started several large investment programmes.
Nordicum 6/2006 includes real estate & architecture special report. We introduce for example airport city Aviapolis, which is one of the most dynamic developments in the whole Helsinki region.
